I would like to suggest to remove the set effect for the armors. However, the set effect should be equally distributed for the 4 armor parts so that the "HP to Defense" ratio would still be balanced.

Example:
Equilibrium Set (FA) gives 600 Defense and 1240 Defense rate. If we distribute the 600 defense and 1240 defense rate as a base stat for each armor part, then each part shall have an increase of 150 defense and 310 defense rate.

Pro:

Making this possible would allow players to fully utilize the current armors they are using even though it is not yet on full set. Players who are slowly upgrading their armors would not feel the deficit for not having a fully set equipment.

Con:

Removing the set effect for epaulets should be necessary to comply the loss of set effect.

NOTE: EVEN IF YOU HAVE A FULL SET, YOU WOULDN'T LOSE ANY DEFENSE SINCE THE SET EFFECT WOULD BE EQUALLY DISTRIBUTED FOR EACH PART. KEEP THAT IN MIND.

Good idea.

I think it is called set effect for a reason? It is a bonus in the set because you have the four parts to complete it. If we go down this road.I would leave the epaulets as they are. There needs to be some consequences/losses on stats for not having the full set. Don't you think?

There won't be any losses on the stat since the set effects would be equally distributed to each part. The main goal is for the players who are grinding slowly to acquire better armors. In that case, they can fully utilize their current armors even if they don't have a full set since the supposedly set effect is already added as a base stat for each part. It is a win-win situation for both donators and non-donators. As for the epaulet effect, players can afford to lose a bit of stat.

Anyways, this is just a suggestion. If staff don't find it convenient, then I'll guess this adds upto the trashes thrown at the bin. But you should always see things from the player's perspective.

I can see the set effect being divided into the four parts. Like I said there needs to be downsides to this so the player will be motivated to complete the set.
So the only thing that a non complete set will miss out on is that he won't benefit from the bonus of the epaulet. Are we on the same page?

Maybe set bonus should only apply to end-game sets - Equillibrium and Demonite. Most of sets are just temporary solution and there is no point in encouraging players to have 4 x Zwei Frame for Example. We should encourage players to buy better sets, so they buy better items more eagerly. But thought about "If I dont get whole four of them it sucks" could stop people

There can be set bonus, but not the bonus we currently have in-game. You see, like in official servers, set bonus doesn't really add too much. Set bonuses only give a tiny bit of free defense like 20-30 defense for the set etc. But the bonuses here are too much. That is why I thought that it would be wise to have the set bonus be distributed equally amongst the parts.

Hello all :)
i must agree here with Beer if we do remove current set effect and divide to 4 parts, i would leave epaulets as they are now,
so people will get Extra bonus once they complete their set..
