Suggestion Making server a little easier for new players.

Hello Staff,

I think that this server is somewhat to harsh for new players. We get SIQ Metals cube, which provoke players to go Siq Metal staff for early levels. But it is really hard to upgrade. We can get tons of High grade scrolls at CA1, but Slot Upgrade before + 15 is sick. And there is a problem - Perfect Core High is more expensive than Highest one and CA1 provides like 2 - 4 Safeguards each run (imagine farming it to upgrade whole set). I think I know that I can get PCH by DP or ECoins, but I think it is better to teach new players how important Lightning Elements are than teach them to spend DP for Enchant Cubes.

Right now 1st set worth upgrading is Zwei Frame at level 155, but imagine leveling to 155 with starter set being unable to use potion of experience from Chaos Arenas. (farming stuff for item upgrade with starters sounds amazing too) I think we should make start a little more easier. Otherwise server gonna die without new players staying with us.

I know its somewhat difficult matter, but I hope we can find a solution.

I saw them, but I still think this server is pretty discouraging. I saw tons of newbies, asking question on shout chat. I try to help them: answer all their questions, giving tips as an expierienced player, invite them to a guild and add to buddy and so on, but still around 80% of them leave after a week. I know you have your idea for OGN Cabal and I respect it, but I think some tweaks are really needed.

Furthermore I think that newbie guides are somewhat outdated. You mention you could make 1-2b by spaming Chaos Arena lv1. That is untrue - Perfect Core High doesn't drop there anymore, Safeguards dropped there are too few, so all that upgrade scrolls are just useless and worthless. And then market for newbie items almost don't even exists.

This is 100% truth. Nobody buy sigs, even zwei, the only things that ppl need is: PUKs (idk if anymore), wexp, eins frame extreme/equi/demonite that doesn't exist in market and sometimes palla which is let's say able to get nowadays. Where do You see a way for newbie to grow rich? Beside PUK's i think only grinding alz and selling items to npc, which gives 5 x lower alz than before so...
A simple example: before rings in aFT and Eod3 were much easier to get, sometimes i got 2 x Tempus on 1 run and what's now? I'm taking my newbie friend to eod3 5 or 6 times and no ring... Same i heard about FT3 it drasticcly decreased it's rate. I don't think it's a way to attract players.

I'm sure changes are necessery there or we rely only on old players and once they leave server will be dead.

No the biggest problem lies with the fact everyone goes into the game with the thought of been lazy and that everything shuld be easy acces and gainable by that thinking process everyone would be running around with highest pimped gear and there would be no real effort to be put in i joined the OGN community a month ago and i choose to do things with patience but i never once complained everything is soo easy to gain heck if newbies would atleast do the quests they will of farmed a decent ammount of starting alz then you just need to put effort in it and join guilds that are friendly most of will give you free stuff you can use or sell but don't be like this its already 1000% easier then Cabal online , there has to be some competition between players like i said if everyone had easy acces to best gear ect.. there would be no real fun and diversity in the game and that will make it BORING !!! + we as players should encourage the newbies to join discord like that they will have more options and really be part of the community

Completly agree with Deadpooll, you guys want everything easy, what's the point of play then? You guys need to put a little bit of effort if you wanna be strong one day, but not in 1 day -_-, i know, i know that there are things pretty hard but i realize that i just need to enjoy farm and play and perhaps one day i will grow my gear and i will find my stuff. Just enjoy the server... To be honest i wont like this server turn into fast server, its cool how it is rigth now.

the Reason for that is because everything under zwei frame gear is super simple to gain !! thats why nobody sells gear under Zwei frame cuzz you level up so fast that it becomes obsolete for the player itself heck , you need to be patient and put in effort to find out were what gear drops the site has a drop list unfortunatly to many newbies are to lazy to look around there and start spamming in game chat and then are agitated then no-one replies most of time , in the end everything can be found on the drop list table on redemption wiki

It doesn't matter they are easy to gain of they are impossible to upgrade - it makes them worthless. People go for Zwei Frames because its the weakest set which deserves upgrading. In my opinion Starter -> Zwei Frame strategy isn't fun. I remember this server from one year ago, when players used SiQ Metals, they were buying them or trading each other if they changed their classes. There were more low-level accesories trading too. Now eng-game players just NPC that stuff, because no one wants it. Imagine upgrading set with PCH 100m at AH just for temporary set. So you sit with starter gear until 155 or ask people for free stuff. I don't like it. I think there should be some market for early-gaming instead of free stuff from elder-gamers. But that's only my opinion.

Thats why theres a newbie guide in forums..
That helps them upgrading their Sigmetal items or just Directly go to Zwei frame at lvl 180..
At lvl 180 everything will become much easier.


For the so called low-level accessories that you are saying they can get it thru accessory crafting so i dont think that is a problem..

With the additional 5Ecoin per hour it also a great help for newbies..

They could also use the NSHop to buy PCH
Or they could just farm..


In the Guide i provided if they maximaze the doing CA1 Dungeon they could farm alot of Alz.

well the lazyness comes from as i said before bursting into this with the mindset " everything is super easy and when 1 thing isn't according to there perspective" they search and then complain with all the things they don't want it too be its really sad i never complained when i started as a newbie i work hard and got want i wanted xD not by complaining iin the forum for easier gameplay xD
