It appears you are using blades as your weapons and the costume is for a katana

i was wearing scythe and it wont turn to that costume? how is that then

The katana costume must be the wrong type of costume for the scythe if that is the situation

Katana costume can only be used on Katana weapon. While Blade costume can be used on all sword weapons of course except on katana, so yeah this isn't a bug
