It work's totally fine for me since 2 past day , even before download the new launcher , hopefully this problem will be fixed for others .

Yea, the bad thing is that we have to relay on feedback from users who don't really know what they are doing and its hard for us to debug any possible issue, but we are getting there.

For anyone having various problems out there, try to delete the file "update" from your cabal folder then restart the launcher "cabal.exe", it should only check your files and fix anything wrong
Always keep this launcher in your cabal folder!

Also the current client installers have this launcher on it so if you dont understand how to apply this new launcher just donwload the client installer again and remove the old client and of course install the new one.

New Launcher for client 22-Dec-2016 9:45 Server Time
Before you help us test this new launcher version please go in your client and delete the following files:

• Launcher-EU.exe
• version.db

Now download the new launcher (cabal.exe) and run it.

The new launcher will have better download speed and should not corrupe any files anymore.

If your client crashes on loading screen after all the steps above were done, you might still have corrupted some of the client ech file.

it will fix the game for a while but if you accidentally press SCAN it will download again the corrupted ech file and the client will crash again..
this is just a temporary fix...

Please use the support section, this thread is about the crashing that is caused by corrupted ech and this crash happens on the loading screen and not after you create your character, you have another problem 100% related to the way you installed or altered the client files.

Hello guys!

sometimes my client freezes on server select screen and i cant click it again. (the background keeps moving)
so...

click cabal exe
click game start button
type my password
enter or click OK button
pop up the server select screen
freeze... np.
i open the task manager and kill the cabalmain process, after than
click cabal exe
click game start button
type my password
enter or click OK button
and boom freeze... ewww...
i open the task manager and kill the cabalmain process again!
click cabal exe
click game start button
type my password
enter or click OK button
and... the game run smoothly, finally. but why?

how can i demonstrate this?
maybe a video? lot of ss?


and another time everything works well.

i cant figure out whats the problem, i always use full screen mode for game and maybe 1-2 background process like (winamp, epson printer software, corel draw, chrome, sony vegas or sound forge etc.)

sometimes CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to open task manager is not working in cabal, and sometimes works.
CTRL+ALT+DEL always works to open the task manager.
idk why...

hi...

i guess i found a solution for login problem (if u have an old pc or old laptop or hdd with bad condition)
hdd bad condition = every process taking very long time to finish
i need to wait 3-4 mins on login screen (cabal loading in background) then login works without freezes
this not a perfect solution but maybe a little help

Hello, its not that hard to realise, what do you want more? that dll file is missing and its from mShield, try deleting the mShield folder and restart launcher.
